Coirplus by Premier Coir Products
Every material has a story. Ours begins with the coconut.
01Our Story
Rooted in Pollachi. Growing Since 1986.
Founded in 1986, Coirplus by Premier Coir Products is a family-run manufacturing business based in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, India — a region closely connected to coconut cultivation.
Over the years, we have built our expertise around coconut coir and its many applications, developing products for horticulture, bedding and everyday use.
Today, our products reach customers in more than 50 countries. Our work spans multiple product categories and specialised manufacturing operations, supported by a practical understanding of natural fibres and their potential.
Our roots remain in Pollachi. Our outlook is global.
02Our Philosophy
Quality Is Built In. Not Inspected In.
We believe good products begin with good processes.
At Coirplus, quality is not simply a final inspection. It is an approach to manufacturing — building checks into production, understanding the material, and paying attention to the details that influence the finished product.
We also believe that the right product begins with the customer's requirements. Different markets, applications and operating conditions call for different solutions. We work to understand those requirements and develop products around them.
As a family-run business with roots in coconut cultivation, we recognise our responsibility to the people we work with and the natural resources we use.
Our philosophy is straightforward: understand the need, respect the material, improve the process, and make the product right.

Our manufacturing operations are supported by specialised production divisions, enabling us to serve different product categories and customer requirements.
We recognise that standard products do not meet every requirement. Specifications such as dimensions, blends, quantities and intended applications can vary from customer to customer.
Our focus is on combining manufacturing experience with practical customisation to develop products suited to the job they need to do.
04Global Connections
Different Markets. Different Needs.
A Shared Commitment to Understanding.
Serving international markets requires more than making a product available. It requires listening to buyers, understanding applications and recognising that requirements differ across markets.
At Coirplus by Premier Coir Products, we value direct engagement with customers and industry participants. These interactions help us understand evolving market needs, exchange ideas and explore opportunities to develop products suited to different applications.
We believe lasting business relationships are built on clear communication, a practical understanding of customer requirements and consistent delivery.
Our approach is simple: understand the market, listen to the customer and work together towards the right solution.
